I am a neuroscientist, researching the complex organ that is the brain.

The focus of my research is two pronged:

How does the brain, with its inherent energetic limitations, selectively attend to relevant sensory information?

What tools provide the relevant information and resolution by which to answer different neuroscientific questions?

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in The Tandon Lab at UT Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.

I am also interested in creative pursuits outside of science, and especially enjoy the visual arts.
